Introduction to Climbing
Saturday, August 10th, 6-8pm

Learn how to safely climb top rope! This 2-hour course welcomes new climbers with little to no experience. Students will learn how to properly put on a climbing harness, basic knot tying, and how to top rope belay – manage the rope while a climber is climbing. This includes safety checks, climbing commands, and basic climbing technique. This course is open to all persons aged 14 and up.
Cost: $15 per person (free for current SBRG Members). Cost includes day pass and full gear rental. This means if you’re already going to Queer Climb Night, you won’t need to pay anything extra to join this course!
